I just had a look and I took in the vicinity of 2,600 lomo shots while living in NYC. I'm now going to go through and document each one individually. Just kidding. I am however going to post up some of more favorite ones in a series of one-by-ones.
I took this shot after brunch at the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District. It was on my LC-A using Redscale film. No Photoshop on this bad boy. The woman on the right was the model style door greeter that is mandatory in any food establishment in the Meatpackers. She actually had the most amazing afro but sadly it didn't come out in the photo. I do however like how her face blends into the dark background and the reflection of light from her necklace. In the background you can see a bunch of people enjoying their brunch and one of the water towers on top of the building that NY is famous for. The Standard Grill has these cool little dog shaped salt and pepper shakers and they make a pretty decent bellini. Oh and the donuts are divine.
And Beyond! Great photo. Looking forward to the others. I don't envy you in choosing.
