I think San Fran was around a three kilo city. By that I mean I put on about three kilo's by the end of the week I spent there. Had some really nice meals while I was in town. Here's a sample I places I visited.
House of Prime Rib
Nothing like a good US steak house and the House of Prime Rib was no exception. I'd been to a few in New York but this place cut the meat straight from the rib. You could order various cuts from thin cut European through to the house special. Delicious.
Scala's
Scala's is an Italian joint in the central business district. I've become such a sucker for a good beef capriccio and Scala's did a pretty decent job at whipping one up. The duck for main was also nice although it was very citrus infused.
Woodhouse Fish Co
It had been 16 months in the making and a long time between lobster rolls. I've spent countless hours trying to source Maine Lobster in Sydney but no dice there. After a bit of research Woodhouse was rated as one of the primo spots to get a tasty lobster roll. I headed out to this neighborhood style joint on my last night and was not disappointed. It's no frills surroundings did not diminish from the quality rolls they served up. Entree was a mix of Clam Chowder and some local oysters. I went all out and got the large size lobster roll and savored every bite of it. Trust me this wont be my last lobster roll blog.
Now you are making us all jealous. Lobster roll looks amazing,
