Meatpacking District at Night

I dusted off my tripod and ventured down to the Meatpacking District the other night after a rain shower. Sadly the water on the street dried up pretty quickly so did not quite get the shots I was hoping for. It was all a bit of a science experiment though as I was using my Diana and had no idea how long to expose the film for so just took a stab. They generally came out ok. It was interesting having a few people come up to pose and them not realising I was leaving the lens open for 8-10 seconds. The concept of a film camera was so foreign to them. It was also interesting to see the vignetting come out on the corners of the photos. I had not seen this on a Diana shot before.

Corsino. Not a bad Italian place around the corner.

The dress shop over the road.
