Tungsten Love

About a month or two ago Lomography released a new X-pro tungsten film and I've just got my first shots back from this. I ran it through my L-CA and there were some very interesting results. Probably what stood out most was I thought the film was dodgy as I was having trouble winding it on in my camera. Sadly the new roll I've just put in is not playing nicely so I think my trusty ole my be on its last legs.

Like all X-pro's there seems to be a fine art to getting the sun right and I've yet to figure this out. I do really like the vignetting you get when the sun is getting low and also the color of the reflections off the windows in the apartment buildings. Anyway here's a sample.

Provincetown, MA. This one probably had the most extreme color variation. Almost feels like it's a cousin of the redscale.

My camera was playing up by this stage and the film was not winding on properly. I do love the double exposed shot of Dasha in the left corner.
