The Argus

So the other week when the JL invasion was in full affect we headed up to Cold Spring. While up there my lovely sister bought me a vintage camera which I had plans to turn into a light feature. Anyway after a weeks construction I finally got it setup.

The Argus Agroflex 75 was made between 1949 and 1964 and took 6cm x 6cm pic's on 620 film. What caught my eye was the massive flash dish mounted onto the left side of the camera. I thought this would make the perfect light fitting. I managed to pic up a vintage Escot tripod mount it on. I was working with pretty limited space behind the flash dish and could only fit a small candelabra base where the bulb originally sat. By far the highlight was having an excuse to use my drill. Sad really. It's come up a treat.

And while I'm here thought I'd share a couple of pic's from out on the deck tonight. It really warmed up today and what a great spot to have a sneaky bev on a Friday night.

Got this new point and shoot which has a bunch of cool filters on it. This on is the miniature effect

With a green select filter on.
