I remember ages ago reading an article in the NY Times about this funky parking garage down in Miami. On a recent trip I was wandering around with Tracy when we just happened to walk past it.
1111 Lincoln Road is about the funkiest car park you'll ever come across. It was designed by the same mob who did the Tate conversion in London. It sits at the end of a long shopping mall strip and is quite prominent in an otherwise fairly low rise area.
I went for a bit of a wander in it and it's a real adventure inside. It is commonly rented out for promotional events and weddings and all manner of other parties. I was so enthralled by the building that I left a part of me there. Actually I was quite distracted while taking photos and managed to have a factor 7 toe stumping on a bar I did not see on the ground. Joy.
