Why I Love NYC Part 86

It continues to be filthy hot over here. It's very reminiscent of summer 20120 when there were what felt like 3 months of 30+ degree days. Today while Tracy was off treating herself to some womancare I headed up to MOMA. My membership expires in a couple of weeks and so I thought I'd sneak in one last visit. This is without a doubt my favorite art gallery in NYC. There was plenty of goodness there to fill up an afternoon.

From there it was back home and then a wander down around the Union Square area. We headed out for dinner to Momofuko Ssam on 2nd Ave. We'd been to Ko and the Noodle Bar and this completed the trifecta of their East Village establishments. It did not disappoint. It was a bit of a pork fest with 3 out of four dishes containing oinker but each was equally delicious.

On the way home we stumbled on an old school Italian bakery called Veniero on East 10th st. It's been awhile between cheesecakes so we got one to go although I'm not sure if I'll be able to fit it in.

It was so hot out today that Dasha was walking along with his tongue hanging out. It's not often that that happens
