Tracy had organized some good accommodation again right in the heart of the old port area. It's easy to feel like you're in a village in France with the language and architecture.
We've had an active two days exploring the area on foot. We caught the funicular up to the old town and have wandered around the both during the day and at night. There are lots of tourists around the place but it doesn't subtract from the beauty of it.
We enjoyed checking out the market down in the harbor as well as spending quite a lot of time watching the boats go through this monster lock.
Our glutinous fest of calo busting consumption from Montreal has continued. We've introduced ourselves to the delights of poutine. It French frys, gravy and cheese curd. Just what the doctor didn't order but delicious none-the-less. We had a delicious dinner at this place called Le Lapin Saute last night. It specializes in rabbit but we found sir duck to be sensational. We managed to sort our cream brûlée fix with the local maple speciality but I think the chef got a bit carried away with blow torch nuking the top a bit to much.
Today we got our heart rate going by climbing up to the top of the citadel and also riding out into the burbs. The weather is out of control good at the moment and everyone is buzzing. As nice as it is I'm not sure I'd like to be he in winter.
Overall it's been a fantastic last mini break in this part of the world.
has been a major lack of street art in this part of the world.
