Aruba - Day 1

I think we have found paradise. We are currently staying on Eagle Beach in Aruba and it is amazing. We've snagged an awesome room overlooking the rich turquoise waters of the Caribbean which has an excellent view of the sun setting. We were greeted with a little honeymoon note on the door which was cool.

It was a pretty tough day unwinding after a hectic couple of months. First of all we had to decide which beach chairs we'd sit at. Then what mags we would have to read and finally which cocktails we'd need to drink. We ended up settling for our old fav's, a piña colada. While they were no Jamaican mix, they were still pretty good.

The water in this place is amazing. Warm, clear and lapping on white sand beaches. We are staying in the 'low rise' area which is nice as it's not quite as full on as where all the massive resorts are and there is heaps of room on the beach.

We've been eating at the restaurant at the place where we are staying. It's really good and the tables are right on the beach which is cool. Going to hire a car tomorrow and explore the place a bit.

Aruba has gotten onto the New York 'I Love' theme and I can see why. The place is awesome.
